Working with us you will see the amazing transitionsof our patients and get to play a part of their success story.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. Master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.* Five or more years of nursing experience required.* Two or more years' experience in behavioral health preferred.* Two or more years' leadership or management experience preferred.LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: * Current RN license as required by state.* CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Work closely with the DON to improve the quality of patient care and services provided by the nursing team.* Collaborate with others to ensure that all patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints.* In the absence of the DON, oversee the nursing team to ensure quality patient care, customer service and compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures of the facility.* Assist DON/CNO to provide effective and efficient budget management that ensures the best utilization of resources.* Assist in the management of the daily operations of nursing services.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
