JO # 623006 Genetics Company is looking for: POSITION: Director of Scientific ServicesLOCATION: Wilmington North CarolinaSALARY: $120-150K + up to 35% Bonus + Pension after 5 yearsDEGREE: RequiredEXPERIENCE: 5+ Years Genetic and Population Systems DevelopmentRELOCATION: Full Relocation PackageTRAVEL: Upwards of 40% Preferred RequirementsBachelor of Science DegreePrevious Management Experience5+ Years Genetic and Population Systems Development background within the Animal Science arenaStrong background in gene flow and multiplication General Responsibilities:Manage a core team of scientists and service representatives within the Genetic program.Promote the development of team members in the genetics program and work with team to oversee and implemented programs.Ensure that that all goals in the system are met along with all Genetic Targets throughout the Multiplication System.Assist in the development and provide input and suggestions to insure the implementation of standard operating procedures documented in the Genetic SOP's.Organization of team members' time including regular discussions with team members on long term planning, goal setting and prioritization of activities in the system.Implementation and review of standard operating procedures for genetics for the entire Genetic System.Maintain Paper work and records for the entire Multiplication system. Including running regular reports, organizing paperwork, reporting weekly to the Genetics teamEnsure that all Genetic Targets are met throughout the system and be able to project for future needs.Improve and influence needed improvements of program, including human capital, systems, and operations, achieving genetic goals.Organized international group, including animal genetic companies, for routine reviews of technologies and patents.Additional information will provided at the onset of discussions.
