Job Description:
Atlantic Staffing has immediate openings for experienced
carpenters to work on an installation/travel team for a local
floating dock manufacturer. Weekly Pay for the Marine Construction
Installation Crew: $35 a day Per Diem while out of town $18 an hour
to start This position will be starting work on March 10th at a
Marina in Downtown Wilmington. The right candidate will be able to
join the travel installation team for out of town and local
projects! Duties & Responsibilities of a Marine Construction
Installation Crew : *Performs construction of marinas by installing
floating docks in the water at the job site per the direction of
Crew Lead and/or Site Manager. *Operates equipment and machinery in
a knowledgeable, safe, and effective manner; Follows and applies
safety rules and techniques. *Reports any problems with
construction duties to supervisor. *Ability to travel and stay at
jobsite for prolonged periods of time. *Uses hardware, such as
bolts, washers, rods, lumber, and uses necessary hand tools.
*Positions and fastens all required hardware and materials onto
floats using wrenches, rubber mallets, and others appropriate
tools, ensuring floats are assembled correctly. *Self-Motivator,
ability to keep active, or search for direction towards completion
of work. *Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements of a
Marine Construction Installation Crew : *You will be at different
job sites, doing installations. These may be local or out of town.
The client will pay for accommodations, per diem and travel when
out of town. You could be out of town at times for up to 30 days. *
2 years of carpentry, woodworking or similar trade. *Basic reading,
writing, and math skills required *Candidates must be able to read
a tape measure and pass a pre-employment Tape Measure & Counting
Test - Must score 100% (count from 0-1 in 1/8ths & 1/16ths) The
ideal candidate will possess their own steel toe boots and maintain
excellent attendance, punctuality, physically able to lift up to 75
lbs., and be safety minded. Benefits for a Marine Construction

Crew : Local Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4:15 PM Lunch 45
minutes Travel Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday 7:30 AM - 6 PM
Lunch 45 minutes *When Traveling out of town you will get $35 a day
per diem Saturday hours are subject to change Weekly Pay Overtime
