Associate Director, Financial Systems

The Associate Director, Financial Systems delivers project management, consultation, analysis, testing and implementation support for finance projects including upgrades and enhancements. Provides consultative and technical support of the ERP system (preferably Oracle Cloud), interfaces, and integrations with other financial applications. * Defines requirements and acts as a liaison between the end-users (customers) and the Corporate Systems Development (CSD) department to resolve technical issues and design new features and/or application solutions. * Experience in coordinating end users, subject matter experts with end user testing including test scripts. * Experience in supporting coordinating end users, subject matter experts with end user testing including test scripts. * Knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices with strong analytical and quantitative skills * Excellent project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients * Proven management skills * Excellent business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments * Effective ability to influence at all levels of the organization * Ability to effectively balance and deliver against competing demands * LI-NA1 Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification * Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities for perform the job (comparable to 10 years) * Oracle Cloud experience preferred * ERP implementation experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Mastery level consultancy skills and ability to positively influence business outcomes, performance and quality * Mastery with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable and comprehendible business solutions * Knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices with strong analytical and quantitative skills * Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data * Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity * Demonstrated executive presence * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Management Role: * No management responsibility Working Conditions and Environment: * Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. * Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international. * Long and varied hours may be required Physical Requirements: * Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day. * Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. * Frequent mobility required. * Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck. * Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. * Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf. * Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. * Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups. * Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals.
