Job Description TA Woods LLC. is a Commercial HVAC/Plumbing Commercial Design/Build, Construction, and Service company located in Wilmington, NC. We are looking to hire career minded individuals for the role of full time Senior Project Manager (HVAC/Plumbing). Required: Minimum 5 years of relevant HVAC/Plumbing Project Management Experience; Must have a Valid Driver's License; Must have authorization to work in the United States. /n Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex projects within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. They lead cross-functional teams, manage project resources, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project success. Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist VP in mentoring and training PM staff /n Duties/Responsibilities: /n /n - Develops project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets. /n - Leads project kick-off meetings and communicates project goals and expectations to team members. /n - Allocates resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support project activities. /n - Monitors project progress identifies risks and issues, and implements corrective actions as needed. /n - Develops and maintains professional relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals. /n - Manages project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and change orders; develops and presents project estimates to prospective clients. /n - Manages client expectations related to quality, schedule, and budget while serving the best interest of the client and their goals and expectations. /n - Conducts regular project meetings, including status updates, milestone reviews, and risk assessments. /n - Ensures that all work in place is installed to building code, project, and industry standards. /n - Evaluates project performance against established metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). /n - Prepares and presents project reports, including budget variance analysis and milestone achievements. /n - Conducts consistent Owner-Architect-Contractor and Architect-Design-Contractor meetings that result in positive project progress and provide documentation of the same to the entire project team. /n - Collaborates with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team to ensure that subcontractors, vendors, are paid promptly. /n - Maintains strong current client relationships and identifies potential clients. /n - Contacts potential customers to develop relationships and sales. /n - Leverages existing contacts and establishes new relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential partners to generate new business. /n - Performs other related duties as assigned. /n /n Required Skills/Abilities: /n /n - Excellent leadership and team management skills. /n - Excellent verbal, and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. /n - Ability to stay organized, strong attention to detail, and time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines. /n - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. /n - Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. /n - Ability to determine potential risks while devising proactive ways to solve them. /n - Ability to efficiently read and translate plan drawings specifications and interpret blueprints. /n - Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Basecamp, SAGE, BuildOps). /n - Knowledge of construction accounting - revenue, budget, and cost. /n - Knowledge of construction estimating. /n - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. /n /n Education and Experience: /n /n - Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction schedules, budgets, and contracts, with 3 years in a senior or leadership role required. /n - Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred. /n - PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications preferred. /n /n Physical Requirements: /n /n - Prolonged periods sitting at desk working on a computer. /n - Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling, lift/carry up to 25 lbs. /n - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. /n Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
